 THE CHARTER OF KARDEŞIM ASSOCIATION

 

The Name and Headquarters of the Association

 

Article 1- The name of the association is Kardeşim Association.

The headquarters of the association is in Şanlıurfa. The association may establish representations domestically and internationally but may not open branches.

Purpose of the Association and Working Subjects and Forms to Be Sustained by the Association to Achieve This Purpose and Activity Area

Article 2- The association was established for the purpose of carrying out all kinds of humanitarian aid and support activities needed domestically and internationally. Additionally, it carries out and supports activities that need to be done for the benefit of the public and society as specified in the charter.

Article 3- In Turkey and internationally;

1- To carry out humanitarian aid activities worldwide under the embracing thought of 'my brother', which embraces a unifying idea, and to spread goodness, brotherhood, conscience, compassion globally, to carry out humanitarian aid activities representing the heart and conscience of humanity, to help needy individuals without discrimination based on race, language, religion, sect, to deliver necessary assistance quickly to needy individuals who have fallen into distress, disaster, war, etc., and to those who have been injured, disabled, fallen into refugee status, stranded, hungry, homeless, orphaned, widowed, martyrs' families, and those who have been subjected to oppression, to provide loans, to support education and provide scholarships to students, and to provide both in-kind and cash aid.

2- To conduct all kinds of educational activities related to the purposes, to provide certificates, to support scientific and academic activities, to work for young people to grow up attached to national and spiritual values,

3- To engage in activities in the fields of education, culture, art, health, psychosocial, guidance, sports, technology, combating substance addiction, women and family, youth and children, social assistance, scientific research and development, innovation, environmental and animal protection, afforestation, legal support, communication, press, publication, media, artificial intelligence, and technology,

4- To engage in food banking activities to provide food, cleaning, clothing, and heating materials, and any other humanitarian aid materials free of charge to the poor in need both domestically and internationally.

5- The association will allocate at least two-thirds of its annual income for public benefit and community service purposes.

Subjects and Forms of Activity to Be Sustained by the Association

1- To conduct research for the activation and development of activities,

2- To organize educational activities such as international fairs, courses, seminars, and conferences,

3- To obtain all kinds of information, documents, publications, and publications necessary for the realization of the purpose, to establish a documentation center, to publish newspapers, magazines, books, and bulletins in line with its objectives, to announce its activities,

4- To support all kinds of education and cultural activities, to provide educational aid, to conduct research for the activation and development of activities,

5- To organize educational activities such as courses, seminars, conferences, workshops, and panels for students and the community, to provide education in the fields of culture and art, and to issue certificates,

6- To provide a healthy environment for the realization of the purpose, to procure all kinds of technical tools and equipment, and stationery materials,

7- To engage in fundraising activities and provide assistance abroad with the condition of obtaining necessary permissions and to collect donations, and to accept donations and provide support from abroad,

8- Establishing and operating economic, commercial, and industrial enterprises to provide the necessary income for achieving the purposes stated in the statute,

9- Establishing social and cultural facilities for the benefit and leisure activities of the members, furnishing them, and establishing a mutual aid fund,

10- Organizing social events such as dinners, concerts, theater, exhibitions, sports, trips, camps, etc., to develop and maintain human relationships among members, or facilitating members' participation in such events,

11- Acquiring, selling, leasing, renting, and establishing real estate and chattel property necessary for the activities of the Association,

12- Establishing a federation or joining an existing federation when deemed necessary for achieving the purpose,

13- Engaging in international activities, becoming a member of associations or organizations abroad, and collaborating or cooperating with these organizations,

14- Conducting activities in the areas within the jurisdiction of public institutions and organizations, including making protocols, executing joint projects, and obtaining support, while observing the provisions of Law No. 5072 on the Relations of Associations and Foundations with Public Institutions and Organizations,

15- Establishing representative offices where deemed necessary,

16- Creating platforms with other associations, unions, and similar civil society organizations to achieve common goals in areas related to the purpose of the Association and not prohibited by laws,

17- Acquiring, using, donating, bequeathing, purchasing, and leasing movable and immovable properties to achieve the objectives of the Association, as well as managing and disposing of acquired movable and immovable properties and funds obtained through donations, bequests, purchases, or other means, investing in securities, and disposing of them in line with the objectives of the Association, collaborating with domestic and foreign associations, individuals, and legal entities engaged in similar activities, seeking assistance from entities outside public institutions and organizations, making agreements to provide such assistance, accepting non-ownership rights such as easement, usufruct, habitation, top, mortgage, etc., on immovable properties, utilizing these rights, obtaining all kinds of guarantees, including mortgages and liens, accepting valid bank guarantees, borrowing when necessary to realize the objectives of the Association, providing guarantees, mortgages, and other securities, establishing economic enterprises and companies operating according to ordinary business principles to generate income and provide revenue to the Association, participating in existing ones, operating them directly or under the supervision of a manager, making necessary initiatives, transactions, acquisitions, constructions, and similar contracts,

18- Engaging in any activities necessary for achieving the purpose and not prohibited by laws.
